Afterschool

The Elizabeth Peabody House’s Afterschool program operates throughout the school year, providing transportation for students from their Somerville schools to our location on Broadway. Students are given snack and time to do their homework, with themed activities, games, and lessons for their free time. Past themes have included sports, outer space, and dinosaurs! The Afterschool staff lead students in games and outdoor time, sometimes going to local parks in good weather. EPH works with outside groups like Tufts University to provide further enrichment opportunities, like STEM activities.

We Love Our Community!

EPH is a very diverse environment that fosters love and learning. My son and I absolutely love the students and teachers alike. I would definitely recommend EPH to any parent.
Jerry, former Preschool Parent

What I love about EPH is that the teachers and staff have good energy, communicate with the kids very well. My daughter learned a lot of good stuffs like being independent, choice of words and art work etc.

Make a Donation

The Elizabeth Peabody House exists to serve our community in Somerville and surrounding towns. Every single donation goes directly to our programs and operating costs, including purchases of PPE to keep our teachers and students safe, and partitions to divide up our classroom space. We are extremely grateful for the aid we receive from our community partners, neighbors, families, and supporters as we continue to do our work.
